The brief was very open but had its own challenges and obstacles to overcome. One main obstacle was that no official school emblem could be used. That the design should not be recognizable as school property, but at the same time easily identifiable to students, alumnus and parents. This did not prove to be too difficult as the school itself meant so much to so many different people. Even though there where many debates on to what best represented the school, the process was navigated quite efficiently and with the trust of the board members the job was not as daunting as once expected.
